Santa brought my first paper as first author!🎅📝 This is definitely the best news of 2023, this year will be finished with such a huge relief. Anyone in their PhD path could understand, having the first paper is not just an accomplishment but rather a proof that you are doing right and you are capable of that. So KEEP GOING!!! This is without a doubt a HUGE indication that I can finally put my imposter syndrome behind me! If you're curious about how the brain organises natural scenes, you may also find this study interesting, as our methodology is also a novelty by using EEG measurements. The study tries to close the knowledge gap about the temporal dynamics of how the brain structures natural scenes by integrating neurophysiology and cognitive theory to better understand how the human brain functions in changeable and unpredictable situations. For further reading: https://lnkd.in/eUmN9j36. An extreme appreciation to the best team ever, who are the other shared first authors of this work and this work could have not be possible without them: Dr. Astrid Prochnow and Ms. Xianzhen Zhou and my dearest supervisor: Prof. Christian Beste and the other amazing team members: Prof. Bernhard Hommel, Prof. Veit Roessner and Mr. Paul Wendiggensen. #eeg #cognitivescience #neuroscience #phdlife
